Elsie Stricklin

Elsie Stricklin, age 78, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012.  She was bornApril 19, 1933 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Mrs. Stricklin was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Allie Gilbert; son, James Stricklin; two brothers, Otis and A.J. Gilbert and a sister, Nancy Gilbert.

She is survived by her husband, Winfred Stricklin of Little Rock; two sons, Bobby Stricklin and wife Sherry of Benton and George Stricklin and wife Cathy of Benton; two daughters, Glenda Nix and husband Pete of Benton and Ann Rodgers and husband Micheal of Little Rock; brother, William Gilbert of Sheridan; five sisters, Mildred Kalanic of Sheridan, Mabel Forrester of Roland, Ellen Puckett of Grapevine, Andeline Jarrett of Missouri and Alice Coleman of Benton; eighteen grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Nix, Eric Stricklin, Eddie Stricklin, Billy Ellis Jr., Shane Boullie, James Stricklin Jr., Blake Phothisane, Riane Boullie and Troy Hendrix.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 16 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at IdaMission Cemetery.
