Laveta Jestice, age 78, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013. She was born November 20, 1934 in ParagouldArkansas. Laveta was retired from AT&T after 231/2 years, and was a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Dove Emma McNeil Scrivner, sister, Mary Lee Bacon and brother Sank Scrivner.

 
Survivors, daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon L. and Gary Tiner, Karen A. and Tom Horihan, and Deborah C. and David Grimmett, grandchildren, Michael Tiner and Emily Ruff, Tiffany and Brandon Hilliker, Joseph Horihan, and Christy Wilson, Chelsea and Jason Martin, great-grandson, Hayden Hilliker, nieces, Doris Slaten and Freda Jamison, nephews, Vertis Scrivner, and Jobe Moore.
 
Family wishes to thank the nurses at Saline Memorial Hospice House, Dr. Cartaya and Kristi Pelle.
 
Memorials may be made to the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund,8602 Springhill Road, Alexander, AR. 72002.
 
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Ashby’s.
 
Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at PineCrest Cemetery. Minister will be Bro. Steven Sewell.
 
Pallbearers: Gary Tiner, David Grimmett, Tom Horihan, Joseph Horihan, Jason Martin and Brandon Hilliker.
